Child Wellbeing
St Patrick’s Sports Academy is fully committed to safeguarding and protecting children and vulnerable adults in sports.
Our members and coaches are expected, in line with SFA/SYFA requirements, to undertake the children wellbeing course to help them recognise, understand and promote children’s rights, raise awareness of safeguarding children’s wellbeing and recognise what needs to be done when a child needs help or support.
The course is mandatory at this club in order to give members and coaches the confidence needed to fulfil their role and responsibilities to keep children safe in sports.
