Proposed Community Development in Viewpark

Following a long period of preparation and hard work from our volunteers at St Patrick’s Sports Academy, we are now in a position to announce an exciting and positive vision for the future of sport and community engagement within North Lanarkshire, with plans to take over a local site in Viewpark.

Our proposal includes the construction of two high-quality astro football pitches, a modern adjacent building to house changing facilities, and a range of other community-driven projects aimed at promoting health, wellbeing, and social inclusion.

This initiative represents a fantastic opportunity to enhance local sports infrastructure, provide young people with access to safe and modern facilities, and create a lasting community hub that benefits residents of all ages. St Patrick’s Sports Academy has a strong track record of supporting youth development, encouraging participation in sport, and delivering positive outcomes for the local area.
